Who we are and what we do
eTutors Nigeria Limited is Nigeria's first fully interactive live online learning platform. We are reshaping and revolutionising how tutoring works using technology to connect students with qualified tutors in real time.
Our tutors are teachers, professors, adjuncts, PhD students, and industry professionals who are all passionate about their areas of expertise and eager to help students learn. We help learners of all ages and stages—from primary through college, continuing education, and career. Our tutors provide empowering, encouraging support to help students complete their assignments, improve their grades, and persist in their studies.
We provide focused, technology-driven and high-quality tutoring for:
- Nigerian Popular Exams (e.g. UTME, WAEC, NECO, etc.)
- International Language Proficiency and Standardised Exams (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, etc.)

Our platform brings together experienced tutors from Nigeria and beyond to deliver structured, interactive, and practical lessons that help students to deepen their knowledge and broaden their intellect, and not just pass exams.
Why We Exist
Nigeria's education system faces major challenges:
- By 2030, over 1.4 million new teachers will be needed to meet basic education needs.
- Only around 220 secondary school teachers are trained each year, while the demand is close to 400 annually.
- In the 2024 UTME, over 75% of candidates scored below 200 out of 400.
The consequences are clear: poor foundational knowledge, weak exam performance, and low preparedness for higher education—especially among underprivileged students.
At the same time, many private coaching centres have drifted from their original mission. Several now operate as "miracle centres", enabling exam malpractice and relying on underqualified staff. These shortcuts damage long-term learning. Students may pass local exams but fail international tests like SAT or TOEFL where such practices are ineffective.
eTutors Nigeria was founded to change this.
